A domain name extension is the generic value at the last of your domain name for example “.com, .org, .net, .info, .in, .co.in etc” .com is the top commercial domain name. It is better to have a .com domain name than any other even all the extension are of the same value to the search engine but with .gov, .edu etc are a little more valuable.
